Appetizer? March 29, 2007

I so wish I had pictures to post of this, but it was just one of those things you clean up right away.

This morning I went into Harrison’s room to get him and change him and take him downstairs.  The first thing I noticed was that he had something brown on his face, mostly around his mouth.  I thought maybe he had puked…nope…his diaper had EXPLODED.  He hasn’t had an explosive diaper in ages.  Well, this one went all the way up his back and he had rolled around in it and then used it as finger paint…and apparently an appetizer to his morning bottle.  It was N-A-S-T-Y!  He actually was laughing at me while I was cleaning it up…that little turkey!

 I SO wish I had pictures….

Here I am being a goofy boy.  I wore this strainer on my head all day yesterday, and I fussed when it wasn’t on my head.  He he he…p3200011edited15web.jpg

Lions and Tigers and Bears…Oh my! March 19, 2007

Well, yesterday I had my first trip to Disney.  Mommy and I went to Animal Kingdom with daddy’s cousin’s wife and her kids.  IT WAS SOOOOOOOOO FUN!  It is a two and-a-half hour drive from where we live.  I played most of the way there and ate Cherrios and dumped them all over me!  The first thing we did was we played on the slides in the Dinosaur park!  I went down my first slide!!  I wasn’t too sure what I thought about it.  Then we went to “A Bug’s Life” show.  I LOOOOOOVVVVEED IT!  I just giggled and laughed through it.  I loved getting wet in it too!  Then we went on a Safari through the African jungle.  I slept through most of it.  When I woke up I wasn’t too sure what was going on.  It was really bumpy.  We saw elephants, lions, giraffes, crocodiles, warthogs, impalas and lots of birds.  We also saw the Lion King show, which was AMAZING.  We got to sit on the second row and on the end and Timone came up and played with me!  I laughed with him.  Anyway, the day was a blast.  I crashed on the way home as did the other kids!

 Enjoy the pictures!

This is what I did during the safari!

This is what I could have seen if I hadn’t been asleep during the safari!

Sad day yesterday… March 13, 2007

It was a sad day yesterday.  My parents went back to Canada.  It was really hard.  I’m really bummed.  I know we are supposed to be here.  I know it will be hard.

Apparently due to all of the stress I’m under, I have TMJ now.  I thought it was an ear infection, but it isn’t.  Holy crap does it hurt.  It makes it near impossible to sleep, ’cause it hurts the side of my head.  My dad (who is a dentist) said to just try and relax and use heat on it.  I thought I was doing a good job of trying to relax, but apparently I’m not.  I am grinding in my sleep — how can I change that?  I need to get a splint.

Well, that’s all that is going on here.

Welcome, all, to our new blog.  This big move to Florida has sparked some big changes in my life, and I’m starting anew with most of the things in my life!  So, the blog had to follow!

We arrived safely in Florida on Monday.  Harrison did AMAZING on the flight.  I now know that direct is the best.  We flew here on WestJet and it was great.  I would totally do that again.  It was nice to have my parents with me on the flight so I could pass Harrison to them.  Harrison is LOVING his walks.  On one of their walks, he and grandpa saw three turtles.  There are geckos galore around here!  I love the weather.  Even more, I love not having my migraines.  We just found out the other day that there isn’t any highspeed internet in this area yet, but should be by the end of the month.  I am going nuts!  Dial-up for me!  Brian is liking his job!  That’s all the news here!!!!  Come on over!
